Jessica Simpson’s Husband Gives Her Ultimatum — Go to Rehab, Or I’m Taking the Kids! (REPORT)

Just days after Jessica Simpson’s bizarre behavior on HSN had some viewers questioning her sobriety, her husband, Eric Johnson, has reportedly given her a tough choice.

Either she gets clean and goes to rehab, or he’s taking their kids — three-year-old Maxwell and two-year-old Ace — away!

“Things reached a climax in early May, when Eric told Jess he has had enough and issued his ultimatum,” a source tells Radar Online. “He is worried sick that Jess’ conduct is going to start affecting their two children and that their oldest is starting to realize there’s something wrong with mommy.”

Another source tells In Touch Weekly, “She’s taking Adderall and anti-anxiety pills. And on top of that, she drinks,” while an insider alleges her appearance on HSN was “a huge wakeup call.”

“They’ve known for a while that she has a problem, but this was a huge wakeup call,” the insider tells In Touch. “Whenever they’ve talked about it in the past, Jessica would deny it — and since she supports everyone financially, no one pushed her.”

According to the insider, the family isn’t looking into in-patient facilities for the 35-year-old.

“The family is already looking into in-home recovery programs and high-profile rehab centers,” the insider alleges.

“They’re leaning towards in-home, because they know Jessica will never agree to be separated from her children [daughter Maxwell, 3, and son Ace, 2]. Everyone is hoping that if they find the perfect option, Jessica will finally accept the help she needs.”
