Jennifer Aniston ‘Likes’ Instagram Post About Ex Brad Pitt’s Win at the 2020 Golden Globes
Showing support. Jennifer Aniston hit the like button on a new Instagram post celebrating her ex-husband Brad Pitt’s win at the 2020 Golden Globes. Fashion photographer Alexi Lubomirski shared the photo to his social media page on Sunday, January 5, where the Once Upon a Time in Hollywood actor can be seen posing with his trophy.
“Congratulations to #BradPitt for his win at the @goldenglobes tonight,” the caption read. Brad, 56, walked away with the prize for Best Supporting Actor in Any Motion Picture thanks to his captivating performance as Cliff Booth in the drama flick.
After seeing Jen’s response to the post, one fan tweeted, “Never not going to be here for Jennifer Aniston liking Brad Pitt content.”
Even though Jen, 50, didn’t win Best Performance by an Actress in a Television Series — Drama for The Morning Show, she was happy to see her former flame get the recognition he deserved. “Jen was all smiles. She told me directly that she had a great evening. She didn’t seem to care about not winning,” an insider exclusively revealed to In Touch.
“Her eyes welled up with emotion when Brad won,” the source added.
When he arrived to the Beverly Hilton for the soirée, Brad told Entertainment Tonight that he wouldn’t mind running into his former flame at all, calling Jennifer a “good friend.” The exes ended up being seated “super close” to each other inside the venue.
The Just Go With It actress was later seen beaming with pride as Brad took the stage for his heartfelt acceptance speech, proving they have come a long way. Jennifer and the Fight Club actor were married for five years, before splitting in 2005.
Just last month, Brad showed up to Jennifer’s festive Christmas bash and prior to that, he made an unexpected appearance at her 50th birthday party in February 2019.
“They’re obviously on friendly terms, and the more time that passes, the closer they seem to be getting,” an insider previously told In Touch about their dynamic. “Brad has clearly made amends with Jen. She has obviously forgiven him.”
