Jen Aniston Called Ex Brad Pitt the Day After He Showed Up at Her Birthday Party

It looks like time has healed old wounds. Brad Pitt surprisingly made an appearance at his ex-wife Jennifer Aniston’s star-studded birthday bash in West Hollywood on February 9, and the Friends alum reportedly called him up the very next day to thank him for stopping by!

Brad, 55, apparently made his exit early, but his former flame did “call him the day after the party to thank him for coming,” a source tells UsWeekly. “She wanted to know if he had a good time.”

“Guests were surprised to see him there and were making a big deal of it,” an eyewitness told the outlet. “But it didn’t seem like that big of a deal to Jen. She was happy he was there, but that was it. She was busy making the rounds and excited to see so many people near and dear to her.” George Clooney, Amal Clooney, Reese Witherspoon and Robert Downey Jr. are just a few of the famous faces spotted at Jen’s birthday swanky bash held in the iconic Sunset Tower.

Interestingly, Jen and Brad’s reunion comes nearly one year after the actress announced her split with recent husband, Justin Theroux, in February 2018. Justin wasn’t at the A-list soirée, however he did release a heartfelt statement about his ex. “Happy birthday to this fierce woman,” he captioned a black and white photo of her on Instagram, celebrating her milestone birthday on February 11. He continued, “Fiercely loving. Fiercely kind…and fiercely funny. (Love) you B.”

Even though Jen and Brad are cordial these days, it’s reported they “definitely are not dating” or even thinking about going down that path. Meanwhile, it’s been a long and bitter road for Brad and his other ex-wife, Angelina Jolie, who share six kids together. On the bright side, the two finally reached a custody agreement in November 2018. Hopefully, things keep looking up!
