Bella Thorne Sparks Engagement Rumors After Showing Off a Ring From Boyfriend Benjamin Mascolo

Um, excuse us, Bella Thorne, but is that an engagement ring? On Monday, October 14, the star posted a new photo on her Instagram Story — and it featured what looked like a diamond ring on *that* finger. Though the Disney Channel alum didn’t add any kind of caption other than a smiling emoji to the image, she did tag her boyfriend, Benjamin Mascolo, in the post. He didn’t have anything to say either, despite reposting the video on his Story.

The ring Bella was flaunting was a heart-shaped beauty that sparkled when it caught the light. Though it might be a gift for her 22nd birthday, which she celebrated recently with her boyfriend, girlfriend, and two of her exes, the video certainly makes it seem like a special item. If you take a closer look, though, you’ll notice that the star may be wearing the jewelry on her ring finger, but it’s also on her right hand. Traditionally, women wear their engagement (and wedding) rings on their left hand.

Bella tends to move fast in relationships, but, at this point, an engagement would be fast even for her. She and Ben, 26, only went public with their relationship in June 2019, though they were exchanging online “I love yous” by July. Since then, the two have been hot and heavy — and the Italian musician even approves of her new girlfriend, Alex Martini. “You girls are cute,” he commented on a photo of the women as they made their own Instagram official debut.

Still, we think the couple will likely hold off on tying the knot, though we love the idea of a heart-shaped engagement ring. Recently, reality star Amy Roloff has been rocking one ever since her now-fiancé, Chris Marek, popped the question. The Little People, Big World star showed off her own diamond ring on Instagram in September. “It had to be a heart-shaped diamond,” Chris told People while spilling the deets on the proposal. “I knew that’s what Amy wanted.” Bella and Amy may be pretty much on the opposite ends of the celebrity spectrum, but we love that they’re both rocking heart-shaped rings from their boos.
