Bella Thorne Has a New Girlfriend and Her Boyfriend, Benjamin Mascolo, Approves!

He’s supportive! Actress Bella Thorne went Instagram official with her new girlfriend on Sunday, October 6, and her boyfriend, Benjamin Mascolo, approves.

“She’s very cute ✨💫 first girl I have dated that’s camera shy 😂,” Bella, 21, wrote in her caption. In the photos, she laid on top of her new girlfriend in nothing but a pair of short shorts. They cuddled together, but Bella’s new mystery woman tried to hide her face from the camera.

Fans were shook, and they took to the comments to express their shock. “What happened with her BF,” one fan wrote, WTF you were hanging out with ur [sic] BF …”

But it turns out, Bella’s Italian pop star boyfriend is very accepting. He took the comments to share his thoughts on her new relationship. “♥️ You girls are cute,” Benjamin, 26, wrote.

Back in June, the Disney alum opened up about her sexuality and her desire to not define her sexuality at the MCM X LA! Pride launch. “I’m in this really chained down, really tight box,” Bella said. “That’s kind of one of the worst things, and [to] grow up and still be stuck in my mid-40s. I’ll be really unhappy with myself if I’m still in this chained-up box so yeah, I try to make it like, ‘You can’t pin anything on me because I’m a little bit of everything.’”

Bella and Benjamin first sparked dating rumors in April, just days after her split from her ex-boyfriend, rapper Mod Sun. They currently date long-distance since Benjamin lives 6,000 miles away and they rely on technology to keep their relationship going strong. “Ben is a cutie pie and seeing him on FaceTime all the time makes me smile very big,” she told People. “Clearly, he lives in Italy so it’s an interesting thing.”

This isn’t Bella’s first open relationship. When she was still with Mod Sun, they were in an open relationship with YouTuber Tana Mongeau. Bella and Tana remained friends after their relationship ended, but things got rocky when Bella publicly called out Tana on social media after Tana, 21, was spotted out on a dinner date with Mod Sun. “Tana and I are no longer good. She broke girl code. I’m over it,” Bella wrote back in July.

But by August, Tana and Bella were able to rekindle their friendship. “Tana is back in the group. Welcome her [with] slightly opened arms,” read a text message Tana claimed was from Bella.
