Hailey Baldwin Posts About Becoming a ‘Healed Person’ After Slamming ‘Fake Drama’

She’s not fixated on the drama! In fact, Hailey Bieber (née Baldwin) says there is no drama. In a new Instagram Story shared Friday, December 27, the model seemingly opened up about becoming a “healed person.” Sharing a quote about learning how to not get hung up on imagined slights, she appeared to affirm that she really has moved on from the alleged feud she shared with Selena Gomez.

“An unhealed person can find offense in pretty much anything someone does,” Hailey, 23, shared on her Story. “A healed person understands that the actions of others [have] absolutely nothing to do them. Each day, you get to decide which one you will be.”

The post comes the same month that the star slammed “fake drama” in an interview, calling out the “toxic” culture of social media. “I think social media is a breeding ground for toxicity and people creating false drama between women and trying to put women up against each other,” she told British Vogue in an interview published December 4. “I think there needs to be more people with platforms coming together and saying to each other, ‘Let’s kill the conversation, let’s kill the fake drama, let’s squash all these things, let’s move on from stuff. Let’s not give people a reason to fuel fire and create drama and being rude to each other.'”

The model, who married Selena’s ex, Justin Bieber, has been trying to bury the hatchet with the singer for a while. “Hailey thinks Selena is talented,” a source close to the blonde beauty told Us Weekly. “[She doesn’t] consider there to be a feud. … By liking photos of Selena, whether it be a glam shot or ones that her friends post on Instagram, Hailey wants to show that there are no hard feelings. … It’s her way of trying to make peace and show her support for Selena in a low-key way, yet public way.”

The songstress herself has also tried to calm the hate. After fans lashed out at Hailey in the wake of Sel, 27, releasing her song “Look at Her Now,” the Disney Channel alum did her best to make peace. “I am grateful for the response the song is getting. I’m so grateful. However, I do not stand for women tearing women down and I will never, ever be by that,” she told her fans. “So, please be kind to everyone.” It’s good to see these two on the same page.
