Hold Up, Did Cody Simpson Just Hint He Wants to Marry Miley Cyrus? Looks Like it!

Wedding bells already!? Cody Simpson uploaded a steamy snap with his new lady, Miley Cyrus, with a caption that has everyone buzzing on Wednesday, October 16.

“Death do us,” the 22-year-old wrote in the left-hand corner of the photo shared to his Instagram Story. In the image, Cody is posing with his shirt undone and putting his toned physique on full display. Miley, 26, is standing over her man’s shoulder and giving us a soft smile.

Miley herself swooned over the steamy pic of a shirtless Cody. “Need. Oxygen. Can’t. Breathe. I. Stan. For. Ever. Ship,” she commented from the same impromptu photo shoot that he posted to his grid.

Since their blossoming romance began, the two have been showing a lot of PDA and have been vocal about their feelings for one another. The “Slide Away” singer gave the Aussie the little push he needed to release the song he wrote about the blonde beauty. Miley took to her Instagram Story and shared a screenshot of a song file entitled “Golden Things” and writing “DROP. IT. BABY.” Cody obliged and reposted her Story writing, “Okay baby ok.”

Later that day, he posted a photo of what appears to be Miley’s neck embellished in “golden things” and her blonde wavy hair. “Golden thing. Friday. Presave in bio,” he captioned the image. “Emotional,” Miley commented.

Although Miley and Cody are heating up, the “Malibu” singer is on the heels of her recent breakup from estranged husband Liam Hemsworth and brief fling with Kaitlynn Carter. There is no word on whether these two are actually on their way to “I do,” but sources say that the singers are a great match.

“Miley and Cody are old friends. Right now she needs someone she can trust and rely on and Cody is that guy, he gets her,” an insider told In Touch exclusively.  The source also noted that the couple shares a lot of commonalities. “Miley and Cody have a ton in common. They can sit down and play music until the sun comes up,” the source shared. “They’re both single and have seen each other go through many romances and breakups. They have a special connection. And now it’s a bit more than just friends. Everyone is curious to see where this goes.” — Maybe down the aisle?! We shall see!
