Brad Pitt’s Mom Also Has Her Fingers Crossed for a Jennifer Aniston Reunion! (REPORT)

When it comes to Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston reuniting, no one is more supportive than Jane Pitt. The Oscar-winning actor’s mom is reportedly thrilled he is reconnecting with his ex-wife amid her divorce from Justin Theroux.

“This is what she’s dreamed of for over a decade — she never lost faith and has stayed in touch with Jen for years,” a source told Radar Online. “Jane and the whole Missouri-based Pitt family haven’t been disrespectful about Jen and Justin’s marriage, but once it became apparent things wouldn’t work out they actively pushed Brad to get back in touch. Now they’re determined to see them back together for a second chance.”

The insider also revealed that Jen and her former mother-in-law still “write long letters to each other a couple of times a month,” and talk on the phone regularly. Earlier this week, In Touch exclusively revealed that Brad was giving Jen a shoulder to cry on during her split from Justin.

“Jen made a tearful, late-night call to Brad one night recently and explained how Justin went off to the East Coast three months ago, and she felt he was never coming back,” a friend of Jen’s said. “She confided in him about all the missteps and problems in the relationship, and Brad provided the calming words that she needed to hear.”

Jen and Justin formally announced their separation on Feb. 15 — leaving a reconciliation between Brad and Jennifer on the table. However, the father-of-six has yet to finalize his divorce from Angelina Jolie as the estranged couple struggles to come to a custody agreement. “They had been diligently going along privately and amicably, trying to keep the focus on the family,” a source told _In Touch+.* “But suddenly, Angelina reversed course when she felt Brad was pushing too hard to resolve the situation to his benefit.”
