Angelina Jolie Wants As Much Money As She Can Get Out Of Brad Pitt, Source Claims
Hollywood’s most notorious divorce battle continues! In Touch magazine has exclusively learned that Angelina Jolie is ready to take Brad Pitt for all he’s worth… or, er, at least half, that is. “She wants as much money as she can get out of Brad,” a source claimed to the publication. “[Angelina’s] goal is to get half his fortune.”
Despite the fact that the 43-year-old actress has an estimated net worth of $160 million, Brad has racked in almost double that amount over the course of his 27 years in the movie business. “He’s worth significantly more than Angelina,” the source noted of the actor’s roughly $300 million net worth.
Even so, Angelina is hardly cash poor — or is she? In 2017, the mother-of-six had to go to Brad for an $8 million loan to purchase a new home near his in the Loz Feliz neighborhood of LA. Hmmm, perhaps her financials aren’t as tidy as she’s let on.
The mother-of-six has made it abundantly clear that she expects more money when it comes to the pair’s children — Maddox, 17, Pax, 14, Zahara, 13, Shiloh, 12, and twins Knox and Vivienne, 10. Earlier this year, Angie’s legal team claimed in court documents that Brad had failed to cough up any “meaningful child support” since their split in 2016.
However, Brad’s attorney fired back and maintained that the 54-year-old has met all his obligations — including paying $1.3 million in bills for the benefit of his ex and their children.
As it stands, it doesn’t look like either A-lister is willing to comply with the other’s demands. “For a while there, it seemed like they were close to reaching a settlement in the divorce,” the source said. “But now Angie is playing hardball over money and what she feels she deserves from Brad — which means the wheels could come off their divorce proceedings at any given moment.” Yikes!
