Angelina Jolie Is ‘So Excited’ Her Oldest Son Maddox Is Finally Dating

Wow, he’s growing up fast! Maddox Jolie-Pitt, the son of actors Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt, is dating now, according to a source who spoke with Radar Online. He is 17 years old, after all. The source also revealed, “Angie was so thrilled when Maddox told her he was taking girls out. He’s her eldest and she was so excited to watch him become a man.” How sweet! The insider added, “She’s sat him down and made sure to explain how to treat women with respect.” Go, Mom!

No word on what his dad Brad, 55, thinks of the situation. He and Angelina, 43, share six children — Maddox, Pax, 15, Zahara, 14, Shiloh, 12, Vivienne and Knox, who are both 10. The former Hollywood couple announced they were getting divorced in 2016, but they’re still working out some particulars like custody of the kids.

A source told Radar back in November that Maddox, who was born in Cambodia, visited colleges in Seoul, South Korea, with his mom. Checking out potential schools is pretty typical of any 17-year-old, as is dating. It’s hard to believe we’ve seen Maddox grow up so much right before our eyes over the last several years. Imagine how Angelina must feel about it!

Wherever Maddox chooses to go to college — if he chooses to go, of course — we’re sure his mom will support him every step of the way. And if he happens to date around a lot while he’s there, well, all power to him! You do you, Maddox.
