Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt’s 6 Children Have ‘Formed an Unbreakable Bond’ With Each Other
It’s no secret that Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt love hanging out with their children, but what are the six Jolie-Pitt kids actually like behind closed doors? For one, “The kids have a handful of friends,” a source told In Touch exclusively. “But because they’re homeschooled, they’ve formed an unbreakable bond. They really rely on each other.”
Maddox, 18, is heading to college at the end of August to Yonsei University in South Korea, and it seems like the 44-year-old actress is going to have to get used to him living on his own. “Maddox is extra special to Angie because he’s her first,” the insider explained. “She can’t believe how quickly he’s grown up. She’s really going to miss him.”
Meanwhile, Pax, 15, and Shiloh, 13, will have to rely on each other while their big brother is gone since the three of them are “thick as thieves,” the source added. “Pax and Shi are really going to miss their big brother.”
So, what are some of the children’s personalities like when you have two famous parents? Shiloh loves “skateboarding, rock climbing and martial arts,” the source noted. Shiloh even taught Pax and Knox how to skate in their backyard.
Zahara, 14, is a girlie-girl. “She’s obsessed with fashion and loves flicking through magazines for style tips,” the source divulged. Angelina even lets Zahara picked out her clothes — but within reason. Twins Vivienne and Knox, both 11, are very different from each other. “Quirky” Vivienne is already showing interest in acting, the insider explained, while Knox is a bit shy. “He’s quiet and studios,” the source said.
Of course, like most siblings, the kiddos “squabble” but “most of the time, they get along,” the source said. Despite Brad, 55, and Angie’s messy divorce, it seems like the kids are pretty … normal. “They feel blessed to have such well-behaved, grounded kids,” the source revealed. “Quite a rarity in Hollywood!”
The brunette beauty isn’t afraid to gush about her clan, either. “I could not be prouder of my sons for the men they are becoming, the way they respect their sisters and are respected by them,” the mom of six told Elle magazine. “I often tell my daughters that the most important thing they can do is to develop their minds. You can always put on a pretty dress, but it doesn’t matter what you wear on the outside if your mind isn’t strong.”
Clearly, Angie and Brad raised their kids right!
