Amanda Bynes Will Reenter the Spotlight in 2018 — and Already Has Several Acting Offers!

She’s all that — and Amanda Bynes is coming back! The 31-year-old actress recently expressed her plan to return to acting in 2018. The star rose to fame during her adolescence in a variety of TV shows like All That and The Amanda Show as well as movies including She’s the Man and What a Girl Wants. And now, she’s finally ready to return to her career!

“Amanda is looking forward to ringing in the new year with her close friends this year,” her lawyer told Page Six. “In 2018, she looks forward to completing fashion school and dipping her toe back into acting. She has had several offers but is waiting for the right one to come along for a comeback.”

The currently sober actress made headlines after he involvement in two hit-and-runs, a DUI in 2012, and a 2013 arrest for throwing a bong out the a window of her NYC apartment. After psychiatric treatment, her probation from her 2014 DUI recently ended this year.

The past few years turned out to be challenging for Amanda as she dealt with her drug and mental health issues. Now, that she is healthier, happier, and studying at the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising, she is finally prepared to make the plunge back into acting.

Talk show host Diana Madison recently had a one-on-one interview with Amanda. It was the first time the star spoke to the press in a sit-down interview in five years.

“You know it’s so interesting because when she said that [she wanted to return to acting] I had goosebumps,” Diana exclusively told In Touch. “This is Amanda and she’s back. She’s so passionate and she’s really young and she has her whole career ahead of her. Even though she’s been acting for such a long time, she’s still young she could make it happen and she’s ready to make it happen.” We can’t wait to watch her on our screens again!
