Zendaya Calls a Magazine Out For Slimming Her Down With Photoshop, Posts Unretouched Photo
Zendaya is only 19-years-old — but there’s no doubting she’s wise beyond her years!
Shortly after it was revealed that the Disney Channel star was featured in an editorial shoot that had been heavily Photoshopped to make her appear slimmer, the teen took it upon herself to release the unretouched photo.

She captioned the shot, “Had a new shoot come out today was shocked when I found my 19-year-old hips and torso quite manipulated. These are the things that make women self-conscious, that create the unrealistic ideals of beauty that we have. Anyone who knows who I am knows I stand for honesty and pure self-love. So I took it upon myself to release the real pic (right side) and I love it!”

The editors at the publication, Modeliste, promptly removed the edited photos in favor of the authentic ones.
“Thank you @modelistemagazine for pulling down the images and fixing this retouch issue,” she later added to the caption of pic.
