Anna Faris Admits Feeling “Insecure” About Chris Pratt and Jennifer Lawrence’s Relationship

Ever since Anna Faris and her husband Chris Pratt announced their split on Sunday, Aug. 6, fans have been trying to understand what really went wrong between them — but it seems like there’s not just one reason, but a handful of things that led to their breakup. They disagreed on how many kids they wanted.

Even though Chris and Anna share five-year-old son Jack together, sources revealed to TMZ that Anna wanted to have a traditional family life, with more kids and a place to call home. She previously opened up about her desire to expand her family last year during an interview with model Olivia Munn on her podcast, Anna Faris Is Unqualified.

“We both love kids, Chris and I have both dreamed about having a big family,” the 40-year-old revealed. “But I didn’t love pregnancy… I was just bored. I was uncomfortable at times, and Jack came early. He came two months early, so now I’m in a high-risk pregnancy category, but I would love to.”

Chris seemingly chose his career over growing his family.

But a lot had changed in their marriage since they tied the knot in 2009 since Anna was at the top of her career and Chris was just at the start of his. Over the course of their eight-year marriage, the 38-year-old went on a weight loss journey and transformed his career from a loveable sitcom star on Parks and Recreation to an action star in blockbuster films like the Guardians of the Galaxy, Avengers, and Jurassic World franchises.

Now that Chris is at the top of his game career-wise, he doesn’t want to make any more additions to their family — especially because his filming schedule takes him away from their home base in Los Angeles for months at a time, TMZ reported.

Then there’s that whole Jennifer Lawrence cheating scandal.

In 2016, rumors started swirling that claimed Chris had an affair with his 27-year-old Passengers co-star and Anna actually addressed the rumors in her memoir

“It made me feel incredibly insecure,” she said. “I didn’t want to pay attention to the stories but I couldn’t block them all out, either. I’d always taken pride in our relationship, and the coverage, even though it was just false rumors, was making me feel insecure.” She also admitted that while Chris didn’t understand why she felt “sh–ty” his co-star Jennifer did reach out to Anna amid the rumors.
