Stephanie works as an R&D chemist and a cosmetologist, according to her Instagram profile. She began a new adventure as a lash tech in 2024 and began sharing her work on her Instagram Stories. Stephanie is also a mom to a daughter.
When Did Jon Gosselin and Stephanie Lebo Get Engaged?
Jon and Stephanie shared the news of their engagement on November 28, 2024, with Stephanie posting photos of her ring on Instagram. “Of course I said yes,” she wrote on the caption.
Meanwhile, the happy couple told Entertainment Tonight that they got engaged after a private dinner at their favorite restaurant, Willoughby’s on Park in Wyomissing, Pennsylvania. The TLC alum, who was previously married to Kate Gosselin, popped the question with an emerald cut diamond ring. They later met up with friends and family to celebrate the special occasion.
Stephanie’s father was especially emotional and whispered in her ear, “You don’t know how long I waited for this day for you, and there was a time where I thought it was never going to happen for you. I’m so very happy for you and Jon. My best advice is never stop being in love. Love comes first.”
When Did Jon Gosselin Meet Stephanie Lebo?
The father of eight met his soon-to-be bride at a backyard barbecue in August 2021, he revealed to The Sun in August 2023.
“We met at a backyard barbecue at a mutual friend Dean’s house,” Jon said. “It was a hillbilly thing we let fireworks off, it was fun. I had been single for a few months after Colleen [Conrad] and I broke up.”
The couple started messaging each other after the party and “never stopped talking.” They went out together and had a blast, so Jon asked his friend if it would be OK to make things official with Stephanie.
“I called Dean because he is like Steph’s brother and I said, ‘Did you ever hook up with Stephanie?’ and he said, ‘No man she’s like my sister,’ and then I called Stephanie and asked her the same she said, ‘No way he’s like my brother,’” Jon continued. “So I called Dean back and said, ‘Do you mind if I ask Steph out?’ And he said, ‘No I don’t mind, but if you hurt her I’ll kill you, I’ll snap you in half.’ And he’s a big guy!”
Jon and Stephanie began officially dating in September 2021, but they kept their romance a secret for two years.
Has Stephanie Lebo Met Jon Gosselin’s Estranged Kids?
Though Jon’s kids Hannah and Collin live with him in P.A., he has been estranged from his other six children since his 2009 divorce from Kate. The DJ revealed on The Domenick Nati Show in July 2024 that Stephanie has met his ex-wife and his estranged kids — Aaden, Alexis, Joel, Leah, Mady and Cara — via FaceTime.
“I know that Steph has talked to Kate, and I know that Steph has talked to my other kids. Just, like, through FaceTime and Hannah’s phone and stuff. Everything seems copacetic,” he said. “My other kids haven’t talked to me though. Maybe it’s just easier to talk with someone who is with me but not me. I feel like I’m a pretty open person since I do eight million interviews and people always ask me stuff, but I just feel that maybe under the scrutiny of everything that transpired, that it might just be easier for them to talk to a third party individual that’s totally integrated into my life.”
Jon then clarified that Stephanie and Kate had only “just said hi.”
“I think Kate sees this as a long-term relationship and, you know, a marriage,” he explained. “Maybe she just wanted to know the woman that’s influencing her children. I don’t know, maybe she’s just concerned, but it happened and transpired.”
