The Kardashian Women Can Thank Their Unique Ancestry for Their Killer Good Looks

There's no denying that the Kardashian women are famous for their beauty. Kim, Khloé, and Kourtney all have a specific look that sets them apart from other modern-day celebrities. And while we all know that they've gotten a nip here and a lip filler there — many factors of their attractiveness are actually natural.

This leaves fans wondering what race is the famous family? Well, it's important to remember that Kim, Khloé, Kourtney, and Rob are all full siblings. Kendall and Kylie are full siblings. But, the Jenner sisters and the Kardashian children are half-siblings. So, this means that the eldest siblings have a different parent than their younger sisters so their backgrounds are a little different.

Kim and her older siblings are the children of Kris Jenner and the late Robert Kardashian Sr.. Their mother has a mixture of Dutch, English, Irish. and Scottish ancestry. Their father was a third-generation Armenian-American. Kendall and Kylie share their mother's lineage, but also have Caitlyn Jenner's ancestry as well. Caitlyn has primarily European heritage with ancestors from English, Scottish, Irish, Dutch, and Welsh.

But, the family's diversity doesn't end there. Kim has two (almost three!) children with husband Kanye West who is an African-American singer. Kim has commented about how she is extremely aware of what it means to raise mixed children in our current world.

“I’m very conscious of it. Kanye always has his family around and people who look like my daughter ― that’s important to me,” she todl Interview magazine. “She’s obsessed with her curly hair, and if she finds someone who has the same hair, she runs to them and is like, ‘You have curly hair like me?’ And we get to talk about it.” Although some of North's cousins don't have her racial background, they, of course, are still so close. "We also talk about it with my niece Penelope, because she and North look really different, but they’re best friends and they’re together all the time.” We love that they're embracing diversity within their family!
