Prince Harry Believes He and Meghan Markle Can ‘Make a Fresh Start’ in Australia After Recent Trip

Prince Harry is already urging wife Meghan Markle to revisit Australia following the pair’s successful trip to the country in April, says a source.

“He can’t wait to get back with Meghan and the kids,” the source tells In Touch. “Harry would love to spend an extended amount of time there. It’s no secret they’re looking to make a fresh start somewhere, and Harry seems to think Australia can offer that.”

While children Archie, 7, and Lilibet, 5, didn’t join them on their most recent trek, the As Ever founder, 44, was pregnant with their eldest during the couple’s first joint visit — for an official royal tour — in 2018.

Arranging a prolonged family stay “will take some effort,” admits the source.

“But it’s very likely to happen,” the source insists. “Meghan’s been eyeing ways to expand her brand Down Under — it’s just a matter of pulling the trigger.”

Formerly under British rule, Australia remains a part of the Commonwealth.

“Harry does feel a sense of home when he’s in Oz,” admits the source. “He has a number of good friends who live Down Under and there’s a lot of cultural overlap.”

The estranged royal, 41, has even more reason to want to head back: A Current Affair reports the federal government just reversed a decision to cut funding — about $3 million per year — to his Invictus Australia nonprofit.

“This is a win that Harry really needed,” says In Touch‘s source. “He’s celebrating big time and is very hyped up on Australia right now.”
