Cardi B Opens Up About Dating After Stefon Diggs Split

Cardi B has no intentions of staying single.

On Wednesday, July 22, the “Be Careful” singer snapped at a fan on X who said they “want her to be single” and stay “focused on herself.” In response, Cardi said, “B—-, I’m not going to be single for the rest of my life.”

Cardi went on to admit she doesn’t mind a little “entertainment” from time to time.

“I’ve been going outside. I’ve been chilling with friends. I’ve been vacationing. I’ve been drinking. I’ve been having a ball,” the rapper said, before adding, “even me and my friends, even when we have a ball, we need some entertainment.”

The rapper confessed she has stayed single throughout the last few months. However, she did slip up when she “went back to some bulls—.” She left “right away” and has been “living my life” since.

Cardi revealed she is being “a little more exclusive” about who she dates going forward after a few regretful choices in the past.

“Could I pick better men? Probably. Maybe. So, whatever,” she said. “I’m not gonna be single forever. I need to be entertained. Life is cool. Life is everything. But it’s just like, all right, the p—- needs love too.”

Cardi’s admission comes months after she split from Stefon Diggs.

The rapper and football player were together for a year before they broke up.

They were first spotted together on Valentine’s Day in 2025, when the two arrived at a Miami hotel in the middle of the night. However, the two didn’t confirm their relationship until May.

In the midst of the 2025-2026 football season, the couple welcomed their first child together. In November, the rapper took to Instagram to announce she had a healthy baby boy with the NFL star.

Their son was born just two days before a paternity test revealed Stefon was the father of Aileen Lopera‘s 7-month-old baby girl.
