Wendy Williams Leaves Sober House Without Wedding Ring Among Troubled Marriage Rumors

Are things not going well for Wendy Williams? It seems like every time we’ve seen her leave the sober house where she’s staying, she looks like she hasn’t slept in weeks. But now, the star doesn’t just looked exhausted. She’s also trying to hide her face from anyone looking on — and she’s left her wedding ring behind. While there are plenty of reasons not to wear your wedding ring, it seems strange for the TV show host, especially after she blasted cheating rumors in early March by proudly proclaiming that she still had her ring on.

“I want to shout out to my husband. I am still wearing my ring,” she said on The Wendy Williams Show. “Believe me you, when you’ve been with somebody for 28 years, married for 25 years, then … When we got married, we waited like four years before doing the baby projects and stuff. So we know each other. He is my best friend, my lover, he’s all this and he’s all that. I know what you’ve been saying and I know what the streets have been talking about. … Don’t ask about mine until you see this gone,” she said, referring to the piece of jewelry.

At the time, she insisted that the ring wasn’t going anywhere. “Not in this lifetime,” she told her audience. Now, that’s clearly not the case. But is Wendy throwing shade by leaving her diamonds at home? On March 22, her husband spoke out on Entertainment Tonight. “We’re doing well as a family. We are moving forward with working on her sobriety and doing the work to help others, not just ourselves,” Kevin Hunter told the outlet about the star’s struggles with addiction. “It is a family process. Anybody that has to deal with this knows this a family process … and we are dealing with it and moving forward.”
