It’s a Boy! Tori and Zach Roloff Welcome Baby No. 1 — See His Adorable First Photo!
He’s finally here!
Tori and Zach Roloff have welcomed their first child, a baby boy, named Jackson Kyle Roloff on Friday, May 12 — which was just two days before Mother's Day! He arrived weighing 9 pounds, 1 ounce and measuring in at 20.5 inches long — and the proud parents already shared his adorable first photo on Instagram!

“Baby and mother are doing great and Jackson is already mastered holding daddy’s fingers and snuggling with mom! He is adorable and Tori and I are loving being parents,” Zach told People.
This is the first child for the Little People, Big World stars, who wed in July 2015. Throughout the pregnancy, the new parents kept fans updated on Baby Roloff both on social media and on his family’s reality show.

The pregnancy proved to be emotionally testing for Tori especially, as it was unclear whether or not the baby would a little person, like his father (who has Achondroplasia); her worries escalated when it was revealed that the baby’s limbs were measuring below average in size.

“It’s a big deal. It is scary. No parent wants to hear that their child is different, no matter what,” Tori explained to her husband, who attempted to calm her nerves by reminding her that, “to me, that’s not different. He’s just like me!”

Zach tried his best to make her feel better by encouraging her to think of the possibility of their baby having dwarfism as “nerve-wracking,” rather than “scary.”
“I think, as a parent, it would be scary,” Tori justified. “If you didn’t know anything about dwarfism and you found out your child was a dwarf, that would be scary. There are certain things that come along with having an achondroplasia child that would be more difficult than having a child that was average height.”

Zach definitely understood his wife’s concerns — and may have heightened them when he reminded her about his many childhood surgeries — but ultimately decided that there are concerns that come with parenting, regardless if your child is a little person or average size.
Tori couldn’t help but gush, “Whatever pops out, we’re going to love it!”
