Jersey Shore’s Angelina Pivarnick Announces She’s Expecting 14 Months After Filming Positive Pregnancy Test

Angelina Pivarnick‘s long road to motherhood may have just taken its biggest turn yet.

As the Thursday, May 14 episode of the MTV series aired, the Jersey Shore: Family Vacation star posted on X, “I’m pregnant !!!! #jsfamilyvacation.”

During the episode, Pivarnick, 39, surprised castmate Sammi “Sweetheart” Giancola with a positive pregnancy test at the 1st birthday party of costar Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino‘s daughter Luna, according to Us Weekly.

“There’s no way that it just happened naturally. There’s no sperm donor now,” a stunned Pivarnick said on the episode, per the report, referencing the fertility journey that has been at the center of her storyline this season.

The reality star, who has been open about her struggles to conceive, was visibly overwhelmed by the result. “I did not think I was able to get pregnant, but, wow, I’m … pregnant,” she said in a confessional, per the outlet. “This could be a great thing. This could be my fairy tale, my path, my baby.”

Later in the episode, Pivarnick called the father of her unborn child — identified only as “John Doe-Nor,” a playful nod to the donor storyline — to deliver the news. “I am officially, definitely pregnant — we’re having a baby!” she told him, according to the report.

The episode was filmed in March 2025, per Us Weekly. Other than the X post, Pivarnick has not yet shared any other updates on the pregnancy storyline in the subsequent months.

Her costar Sorrentino, 43, also marked the moment by sharing a clip from the episode on Instagram, showing him struggling to keep the secret after learning about the positive test. He and his wife, Lauren Sorrentino, are parents to son Romeo, 4, daughter Mia, 3, and Luna.

The pregnancy news caps a turbulent season for Pivarnick, who previously generated backlash after joking about sleeping with multiple men in an attempt to conceive. She later clarified on her Instagram Story that the comments were made in jest, according to Us Weekly, writing that “the narrative is simply not accurate.”

As In Touch previously reported, Pivarnick tied the knot with Chris Larangeira in November 2019 during a ceremony captured on the show. Their marriage officially ended when the divorce was finalized in May 2022.
