Not Over It: The Kardashians Don’t Forgive Tristan Thompson, They’re Just ‘Trying To Be Civil’
It’s been a rough year for Khloé Kardashian since she learned that Tristan Thompson cheated on her and has had to repair her relationship with him ever since. She is trying to move on from everything, but the Kardashians reportedly can’t forgive Tristan quite yet.
A source told People, “Everyone is trying to be civil and nice since Khloé wants them to. Khloé just wants to be supported in the decisions that she makes regarding Tristan.”
In the past few weeks, the couple showed their relationship struggles on their reality show, Keeping Up With The Kardashians. It’s been tough for the family — especially Khloé — to relive those terrible days.
“She always understood that her family was very upset and defensive after he cheated. That situation was such a nightmare for Khloé at a time that should have been her happiest,” the source continued.
It seems like things are better for the basketball player and the reality star now, though. They spent Thanksgiving together with baby True for their third year in a row. Tristan even shared a picture of his baby mama and daughter on Instagram. He captioned the photo, “I’m soo blessed. Happy Thanksgiving from my family to yours. #GiveThanks #Blessed.”

However, some fans speculated that Khloé’s sisters were mad at her for not being at their Thanksgiving in California, but Khloé shut those rumors down ASAP. She tweeted, “Y’all are reaching now. I’ve spent the past three years in Cleveland for Thanksgiving. Not sure why people are trying to create drama between my family and I. My sisters and I are perfectly fine, thank you! All of their families were able to travel but TT being in season, he can not.”

Even though the drama is in the past, it doesn’t look like Tristan is out of the woods just yet. The source said that the family still doesn’t “trust Tristan and thinks Khloé could do better.”
The source said, “Khloé has asked for them to respect whatever decision she makes for her family, and that’s what they are doing right now. They are playing nice and being supportive of Khloé. It doesn’t mean that they think Tristan is a great guy.”
We hope that he changes his ways, Koko, because we don’t quite trust him yet either, TBH.
