THE FORUM, a summit developed by Atlético de Madrid and Apollo Sports Capital to address the future of the sport, has released a full agenda for the Thursday, April 23 event.

Fittingly set at Riyadh Air Metropolitano — the iconic Madrid pitch that has seen its share of legendary matchups — the event will be broken into several thematic blocks, according to an agenda obtained by In Touch.

“We are proud that the home of all Atléticos, will become a meeting point for international leaders in sports, leisure, and entertainment — three sectors whose boundaries are blurring as they strive to enhance the experience for millions of fans worldwide,” club chief executive Miguel Ángel Gil said in a press release obtained by In Touch.

Following a welcome speech by Atlético de Madrid president Enrique Cerezo, the Football Business Industry will be the first focus of the day.

Gil is set to present his perspective on the future of the sector, before introducing a roundtable of some of the most influential figures in international football. Paris Saint-Germain president and ECA Chairman Nasser Al-Khelaïfi, Manchester City CEO Ferran Soriano, and Inter Miami CF owner Jorge Mas are expected to discuss how top clubs are managed on a global scale.

After an Investment Funds in Sports session, the spotlight will turn to international expansion and growth. In the Spanish Brands Become Global block, leaders including LaLiga president Javier Tabas and and the Royal Spanish Football Federation president Rafael Louzán sharing their insights and experiences.

Warning: A second Football Business Industry roundtable may leave some guests starstruck. Legendary footballers David Villa and Luis Figo will be joined by powerhouse agent Jorge Mendes, whose clients include Lamine Yamal and Vitinha, and Spanish women’s team head coach Sonia Bermúdez to discuss the future of the sport.

The afternoon sessions will highlight how brand collaborations, fan engagement, new technologies and entertainment are impacting the sport on a global scale, before the thrilling day culminates in an exclusive conversation with UEFA president Aleksander Čeferin.

To cap off the event, attendees will enjoy a perfect evening in Madrid on the stadium’s outdoor terrace. The Dinner Experience, a unique gastronomic concept created by three-Michelin-starred chef Dabiz Muñoz, is designed to inspire the leaders of today and tomorrow.
