The Circle’s Darian Holt and Jadejha Edwards Engaged After 1 Year of Dating: ‘Here’s to Forever’

The Circle stars Darian Holt and Jadejha Edwards are taking the next step in their relationship.

Jadejha, 26, took to Instagram on New Year’s Day to announce that she and Darian, 30, are engaged. The Houston, Texas, native shared several photos from the proposal, where her now-fiancé got down on one knee at the end of a red carpet surrounded by white candles, vases filled with roses and rose petals scattered on the floor. At the end of the carpet was a giant heart-shaped red rose display with a neon sign in the center that read, “Will you marry me?”

“Here’s to forever with you,” Jadejha captioned the post with a ring emoji.

Days later, Darian shared a video of the proposal on his own Instagram. The Sunday, January 5, post featured clips of the couple holding hands in front of the floral display, staring lovingly into each other’s eyes and showing off Jadejha’s engagement ring.

“I manifested her, she manifested me, we manifested each other,” Darian said at the end of the video. “This is my baby. This is my future wife. This is my fiancée!”

In the caption, the middle school teacher added, “To Us, Always & forever.”

Darian and Jadejha met on The Circle season 7, which was filmed in late 2023 or early 2024 and premiered on Netflix in September 2024. The reality show sees contestants move into individual apartments in the same building. They can only communicate with each other via text on a social media app, and they can either be themselves or pretend to be someone else as they attempt to gain popularity on the app.

Both Darian and Jadejha played the game as themselves and took a liking to each other during the competition. The pair flirted, shared their first kiss on The Circle and even had a fake “wedding” on the show. Though they were both eliminated from the game, Darian and Jadejha kept in touch and began dating after filming ended.

“Well, I mean, we’re seeing each other. I live in Houston, she lives in Houston, so we kick it,” he told Entertainment Weekly in September 2024. “We hang out. We have good vibes. I’m blushing a little bit.”

Though Darian did not say that he and the cybersecurity engineer were officially boyfriend and girlfriend at the time, he added that they were “seeing how things go.”

“But we are very close. We are very, very close,” he teased.

“I’m glad she wasn’t a catfish,” Darian continued. “I mean, love at first sight, that’s what it felt like, just watching it all unfold. Lovey dovey eyes, heart eyes, heart eyes, heart eyes, heart eyes, heart eyes, heart eyes.”

Now, Darian and Jadejha are gearing up to walk down the aisle — and Jadejha might already have her dress ready to go.

“There’s this little secret that I have with production that no one knows, but I think now is the perfect time to tell someone,” she told Entertainment Weekly. “On the night of the finale when we were all getting ready to walk out, some people from production and wardrobe came down to me, and they gave me the garter from my wedding dress from the wedding episode and they said, ‘Take this to wear in your wedding if you get married to Darian.’ And I still have that to this day.”
