Teen Mom’s Ryan Edwards and Fiancee Amanda Conner Engaged Amid Pregnancy With 1st Baby Together

Ryan Edwards and fiancée Amanda Conner are engaged amid her pregnancy with their first child together.

The 16 & Pregnant alum, 37, shared a video via Instagram on Sunday, January 12, of the moment he got down on one knee and proposed around a firepit. The couple were surrounded by a small group of family and friends, including Ryan’s eldest son, Bentley Cadence Edwards, whom he shares with ex-girlfriend Maci Bookout McKinney.

In addition to Bentley, Ryan shares kids Jagger Edwards and Stella Edwards with estranged wife Mackenzie Standifer. They got married in May 2017 and Mackenzie filed for divorce in February 2023. The former couple was granted a motion of continuance in their divorce case on December 6, 2024, according to documents obtained by In Touch. There is no court date scheduled as of publication.

Amanda, for her part, welcomed a son during a previous relationship.

Ryan and Amanda dove headfirst into their relationship after they reportedly met while the former MTV star was completing his 28-day rehab stint in summer 2023. He was newly single at the time, following Mackenzie’s February 2023 divorce filing. The pair moved in together the following February, one year after Mackenzie filed for divorce from Ryan.

At the time, Amanda shared a photo via Instagram of her cow slipper-covered feet as she also debuted her new living room.

“Our new home,” she captioned the February 2024 photo, which Instagram account TeenMomChatter later reshared.

Three months later, Ryan’s ex Maci, 33, gave In Touch exclusive details about his relationship with Amanda and had nothing but positive notes.

“They have a really solid friendship and just a genuine care for one another,” the Teen Mom star told In Touch at the time. “She is fantastic. She’s just really supportive of Ryan and his relationship with [our son] Bentley and his coparenting relationship with me.”

Maci even gushed that she and Amanda have been “easy and natural” since the day they met, making it effortless for them to “click and just really get along.”

“The most important thing is she’s just really supportive of all the relationships and things that go on with Ryan,” Maci continued. “It definitely helps for him to be in a relationship where that is happening.”

Meanwhile, Ryan and Amanda continued to flaunt their love on Instagram and TikTok. In one of Amanda’s TikTok videos, eagle-eyed fans noticed pregnancy sonogram photos on their fridge in the background, igniting rumors she was expecting. TeenMomChatter shared screenshots of the posts and comments via Instagram on September 20, 2024, including Amanda’s confirmation that she was pregnant with her and Ryan’s first baby together.

“Love you videos! I’m a creeper I can see what’s on your refrigerator,” one fan wrote in the comments section of Amanda’s TikTok video, leading her to respond, “ … oh f–k.”

The following month, Ryan and Amanda gushed over the love they received after announcing her pregnancy. During an interview with Us Weekly, they announced they were expecting a baby girl. Ryan even told the outlet that Maci has “been supportive” and was “excited” when they shared the news with her.
