Teen Mom OG’s Catelynn Baltierra Says Self-Care Is ‘Super Important’: ‘Take a Moment for Yourself’

Treat yourself. Teen Mom OG star Catelynn Baltierra (née Lowell) believes self-care is “super important,” she exclusively tells In Touch, “especially for parents.”

“Sometimes you just need to take a moment for yourself and that can help you be a 10 times better parent or wife, you know, or husband,” the mom to Novalee, 4, and Vaeda, 13 months shares. “You gotta do things that you enjoy and do them every once in a while. Just kind of like as a refresher … it’s super, super important just to take some time.”

In recent months, the 28-year-old has been showing off her self-care rituals on Instagram. In February, the proud mom gave fans a glimpse at her microblading procedure in a video shared to her Story. “They seriously look great!” Catelynn said in the clip while her permanent makeup artist wiped the ink from her brow. “Yeah, they look really good,” her technician added.

Catelynn’s fuller brows were an added bonus to her mommy makeover. After the procedure, the beauty showed off her new look and went full glam. “Thank you @m1ssl1samar1e for slaying my face and hair today for my @littlespoon meeting ❤️ definitely the BEST in New York City,” she captioned a stunning photo of her new look.

Of course, Tyler Baltierra, 28, couldn’t help but gush over his longtime love and her new vibe. “MY BABY!!! I love you so much and I’m so proud of how far you’ve come as a woman, as a mother and as a survivor!” Tyler captioned the beautiful portrait when sharing the image to his page as well. “Your strength is as immeasurable as your capacity to love so deeply. I am so blessed to have you as the matriarch of our family tribe and to have you as my wife! Thank you for everything you do @catelynnmtv and always remember… You’re BEAUTIFUL, You’re STRONG, You’re WORTHY [and] You’re SAFE. I love you, honey!”

The reality stars have been together for over 13 years, and clearly the passion is still alive. “Me and Ty, we just really click and we have a respect for each other,” she told In Touch exclusively in early March. “I also feel like when you are in love with somebody and married to someone, you need to wake up every day, and you choose that person, you choose that person to walk this craziness with.”
