‘Teen Mom’ Star Matt Baier Gives Catelynn Lowell Pills, and Amber Portwood Freaks Out

Catelynn Lwell and Amber Portwood have always been open about their super close friendship — so of course, Catelynn would not hold any secrets from her, especially if it was about her fiancé Matt Baier! During this week's episode of Teen Mom OG, Matt offered Catelynn a pill that he said was Xanax, and as an ex-addict, he shouldn’t be in possession of any type of drug.

The cast of Teen Mom OG was in NYC to do press for the current season of the hit MTV series, and Catelynn — who has a history of struggling with mental health issues — opened up about feeling a lot of anxiety because she missed out on her daughter Nova’s first day of daycare. That’s when Matt offered her drugs — which she clarified later on Twitter that she did not take.

“FYI I never took what Matt gave me like I know what it is?!? Hell no I saved that sh– and told Amber, I wanted proof, etc,” she wrote.

She went straight to Amber and told her what happened and Amber confronted her fiancé. Matt told her that the only reason he had the pills — that he didn’t have a prescription for — was because a pal gave it to him in case Amber needed to take one on the plane ride to NYC, but she wasn’t buying it. The incident led to an argument that resulted in Amber calling off their wedding.

The following day, Matt pulled Amber to the side and tried to smooth things over with her.

“I’m sorry about last night,” he told her. “Do you forgive daddy?”

“You’re sorry every other f–king week,” she told him, and when he asked her if she still wants to marry him, she told him flat out, “no.”
