Kris Jenner Addresses Tammy Hembrow’s Hospitalization Following the Model’s Collapse at Kylie Jenner’s Birthday Party

The matriarch has spoken, y’all! Earlier this week, Kris Jenner took to Australian radio show Kyle and Jackie O to address Tammy Hembrow‘s hospitalization following the Instagram model’s collapse at Kylie Jenner‘s 21st birthday party. “I hope she’s okay. I actually left before any of that happened. I typically go to bed at nine o’clock so it was way past my bedtime,” the mother-of-six expressed, per E! News.  

Kris’ comment came on the heels of Tammy’s deeply emotional YouTube video explaining the situation. The Queensland native shared the clip on Aug. 12 and blamed “drinking” and “lack of sleep” for her collapse.

“Firstly, I want everyone to know that I’m okay,” she began. “So yeah, I pretty much collapsed. Honestly, I’m already like super super embarrassed about it. I probably, definitely shouldn’t have been drinking because of how jet-lagged and exhausted I was and I already wasn’t feeling well,” she explained. “So basically, what happened was I was in LA I was running off pretty much 30 hours of no sleep. I was struggling to stay awake even when I had my hair and makeup done… I could barely keep my eyes open.”

Tammy, whose fitness app is now popular around the world, also addressed her recent split from the father of her two children, Reece Hawkins. “I’ve been throwing myself into work way more than ever and I have my kids majority of the time… literally been non-stop on the job kind of thing.” She added, “I think because of the breakup, I’ve been trying to keep myself busy and not really taking time to think about how I’m actually feeling.”

The 24-year-old has been a pal of the Kar-Jenner clan ever since she began modeling for Khloé Kardashian‘s Good American denim line. And although she’s been getting a ton of support from her fans, she admitted in the clip that she’s also received backlash. “Another thing I wanted to bring up is people trolling or being nasty or making up things just for no good reason… I could never imagine attacking someone and judging someone for something like this,” she said. “You just never know what someone is going through, it’s a reminder to be kind always. There are people who go through worse things than this at the end of the day.”
