One of the most infamous affairs happened on the set of Wicked in 2023 between Ariana Grande and Ethan Slater. News broke in July 2023 that the “Into You” artist had split from her estranged husband, Dalton Gomez, at the beginning of the year. Shortly after their separation made headlines, reports surfaced that she and Ethan were dating. That week, he filed for divorce from his estranged wife, Lilly Jay, whom he shares a son with. The two were high school sweethearts. 

The drama escalated once Lilly slammed Ariana in an interview that month, noting that the Nickelodeon alum is “not a girl’s girl.” While neither Ethan nor Ariana publicly commented about their relationship status, rumors swirled claiming that the two had gotten cozy on set together while he was still married to Lilly.
