Jasveen Sangha, known as “the Ketamine Queen,” was among those arrested in connection with Matthew Perry’s death. As she awaits sentencing, Perla Hudson, the ex-wife of Slash, is offering her support.

According to court documents obtained by TMZ on Thursday, March 26, Sangha has asked the judge for leniency as she awaits her sentencing. She’s reportedly basing her request on her lack of a criminal record and the fact that she’s stayed sober since her arrest.

Sangha has been held in the Metropolitan Detention Center in Los Angeles since August 2024.

To help her case, Sangha has submitted letters of support from friends and family members, including Hudson.

The ex-wife of the legendary ‘80s guitarist wrote that she has a “deep respect” for Sangha and described her as a “fairy godmother” to Hudson’s sons. She and Slash share London Hudson, 23, and Cash Hudson, 21.

“From the beginning, Jasveen struck me as someone with a bubbly, kind and warm personality,” Hudson continued. “She is highly educated and comes from a wonderful family. She is deeply family-oriented-everything in her life has always revolved around her family.”

Hudson added that when Sangha attended her sons’ birthday parties and family events she didn’t attend “as a guest but as someone ready to help in any way she could.”

Perry was found dead in his Pacific Palisades home in October 2023. While the Friends star was believed to have drowned in his hot tub at first, the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner eventually revealed that he died from the “acute effects of Ketamine.”

Sangha was arrested in August the following year, along with four other people. Days after her arrest, she pleaded guilty to “one count of maintaining a drug-involved premises, three counts of distribution of ketamine, and one count of distribution of ketamine resulting in death or serious bodily injury,” according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office.

Sangh was initially scheduled to be sentenced in December 2025, but it was rescheduled to last month. However, the sentencing was delayed once again and a new date has not been confirmed.
