We didn’t know she had it in her! During a live-tweeting session of the season finale of Sister Wives on April 7, Janelle Brown was tagged in a tweet about her son, Gabriel Brown, and she did not appreciate the sentiment relayed in the post. So, she clapped back.

“Who wants to start a #gofundme for poor Gabriel to stay in Vegas? #sisterwives @SisterWives01 @JanelleBrown117 @LuvgvsUwngs,” someone tweeted during the Sister Wives episode featuring the Brown family’s big move to Flagstaff, Arizona. Janelle, 49, clearly wasn’t happy about the tweet, and probably didn’t appreciate being tagged in it, because she quickly responded, “Only if I can start a gofundme account for your kids to move away from you!” Dang, girl!

After Janelle snapped at her, the Twitter fan replied to her own tweet, “Obviously I’m not serious but @JanelleBrown117 has clapped back. Quite meanly, but whatever I just felt bad for Gabe.” She tried to make it clear she was joking, but the damage was already done. She later replied directly to the Sister Wives mama, “I just felt so bad for him to leave his friends and sports but my gosh take me out back and kill me for feeling bad for him.”

Janelle’s son Gabriel really struggled with the move to Flagstaff, mostly because he was doing well in school and was settled with his friends and girlfriend. Fans watched his displeasure over the move play out on the show and made sure to share their thoughts on the situation often on Twitter.

One person who agreed with the GoFundMe Twitter fan replied to her, “People are saying he’ll adjust. Yeah, but there will always be resentment for what he had to give up.” But others actually agreed with Janelle and applauded her response. “I mean I feel bad for Gabe but Janelle this response has me cracking up,” one person wrote. Another said, “Perfect reply to a heartless comment. My daughters [and] all of my grandchildren live 1800 miles from me. I don’t know how you feel, but I do understand the sadness that comes with missing them.”

We definitely think that first fan’s comment hit a nerve for Janelle. Gabe’s struggle with the move was a big storyline this season, and it probably was a lot tougher to deal with in person.
