Christine Brown’s Daughter Mykelti and Meri Brown Went to the Same Convention, But Did They Hang Out?

What gives? It looks like Christine Brown’s daughter Mykelti Padron (née Brown) and Meri Brown both attended the same convention, but never once shared a photo of the two of them together on social media despite being family. Meri, 48, shared several photos showing she went to “#LuLaRoeVision19,” and in many of them, she posed with other people. Mykelti, 23, did the same thing, although she shared more pics of herself posing in the clothes. So … why didn’t she end up in a photo with her “sister mom” at any point during the event?

“Flashback to last night’s opening party, thank you #LuLaRoe for providing us the opportunity to meet amazing people and make lasting friendships!!” Meri captioned one photo from the convention where she posed with two other people. “Bring on the weekend!!” The same day, Mykelti posted shots from the event and wrote, “It’s time for CONVENTION A.K.A. Insta blow up so so so stoked for this #lularoevision19 #lularoeconvention #lulalife #loveingmylula.” But out of all the snaps both women shared, they didn’t appear together in any of them. Mykelti even answered a follower who specifically asked, “Is Meri there, too?” She replied “yes” with no further explanation. Curious.

This isn’t the first time Sister Wives fans have noticed that two people in the family were at the same event and didn’t seem to hang out. In March, Meri and Christine — two of Kody Brown’s wives — appeared to be on the same LuLaRoe cruise, but didn’t seem to spend any quality wife time with each other.

Meri did share a photo of herself with Madison Brown — her sister wife Janelle Brown’s daughter — and Audrey Kriss, her daughter Mariah Brown’s fiancée, but fans definitely noticed that Christine, 47, was nowhere to be seen. “I’m glad you are hanging with them! Where’s Christine though, I thought she went,” one person noted on Meri’s photo with Maddie and Audrey. “Is Christine there, too?” another person questioned.

It’s possible that Mykelti and Meri just didn’t want to spend time together. We noticed in March that there were virtually no photos of Christine and Meri together on their Instagram accounts, and Christine openly admitted in one Sister Wives episode that they “don’t talk” to each other. Could a possible frosty relationship between the wives impact Meri’s bond with Christine’s daughter? It’s hard to say — after all, Instagram photos only prove so much.
