‘Sister Wives’ Stars Kody and Christine Brown Are Spending Their Anniversary Apart

It seems like more than one of Kody Brown‘s marriages is starting to fall apart. The Sister Wives star has been butting heads with wife Christine Brown for a minute now, but things seem to have come to a head with the realization that the couple is spending their 25th anniversary apart. In mid-March, the couple got into an argument on the TLC show when Kody suggested that the whole family could live in one big house. Though Christine shut that idea down pretty quickly, the drama spilled out onto social media. Now, with Christine joining her sister wife Meri Brown on a LuLaRoe cruise to Puerto Rico, it seems she’s left her husband behind to celebrate the anniversary alone.

“Happy anniversary to my cutie fun-loving parents! 💕” daughter Aspyn Brown wrote on March 26 on Instagram with a picture of Christine and Kody kissing her at her wedding. “Thank you for being such a wonderful example for me. I always wanted a fun relationship like you two have and now I do. Thank you for all you do for me! I hope you have such a fun celebration 😘🎉 I love you both so much!” But that “fun celebration” isn’t happening anytime soon. In a comment responding to a fan, the star clarified that her parents aren’t together, but that “they will celebrate once she gets back.”

In the past, Christine has shared her own anniversary message for her husband — but since she left for the cruise on March 23, she’s gone radio silent on social media. And, of course, they had their infamous fight on March 10 when she slammed Kody for bringing up a girl from his past when she didn’t support his plan to move everyone into one house. “What?! Are you seriously wanting all of us in ONE home!! Maybe if you married that girl from your home town SHE would have!” she wrote on social media. “He’s just wishing he would have married that quiet woman from his hometown.”
