Ozzy Osbourne is thrilled to be reuniting with his fellow Black Sabbath rockers for what’s his final ever performance — as doting wife Sharon Osbourne is claimed to be working overtime to ensure it all goes smoothly and he doesn’t overexert himself at the risk of his fragile health.

“He can’t really stand, it’s been that way the past year, so it’s a miracle that he’s still going to perform. His Parkinson’s affects him so badly but he’s refusing to sit this last show out, and Sharon is 100 percent behind him,” an insider tells In Touch exclusively.

Fans are counting down the days until Ozzy, 76, reconnects with Tony lommi, Geezer Butler and Bill Ward to play for the first time in two decades.

The band will take to the stage to headline Back to the Beginning on July 5 at Villa Park, where Ozzy will play his own short set before joining with Black Sabbath for his final bow.

“She will arrange every detail, the way she always has, with the utmost care. This is extremely bittersweet, she’s thrilled he’s going to be able to do this because it means so much to him, and there are a lot of tears associated with this as well because it will be the final show,” says the insider.

“Think of all the decades Sharon has been arranging shows for him, it has an ending for her too, she’s very broken up over it,” the tipster continued, noting it’s been a long and fulfilling run. “She’s determined to make it as smooth and joyful for Ozzy as she can.”

“They’ll go by private plane with all sorts of doctors and therapists, it’s going to take a village but Sharon won’t have it any other way, she doesn’t want this taking Ozzy out, looking after him is her main focus these days.”

Ozzy was diagnosed with Parkinson’s in 2003 and has been focused on improving his health and mobility after his fourth spinal surgery in September 2023.

“He’s very happy to be coming back and very emotional about this,” Sharon, 72, told The Sun. “Parkinson’s is a progressive disease. It’s not something you can stabilize. It affects different parts of the body and it’s affected his legs,” she added. “But his voice is as good as it’s ever been.”

Ozzy, of course, is just as enthusiastic. “It’s my time to go Back to the Beginning….time for me to give back to the place where I was born,” he said. “How blessed am I to do it with the help of people whom I love. Birmingham is the true home of metal. Birmingham Forever.”

Ozzy and Sharon have a lot of history as they have been going strong since the late 1970s. Sharon’s father was the former manager of Black Sabbath.

The couple tied the knot during an intimate ceremony in Maui, Hawaii, in 1982, going on to welcome three kids: Aimee, 41, Kelly, 40, and Jack, 39.

Sharon shared a heartwarming message last year for her longtime love to celebrate a milestone in their relationship.

“My Darling Ozzy Happy 42nd Anniversary You are the love of my life,” she gushed in the caption of an Instagram post including a throwback photo from their nuptials.
