‘RHONJ’ Star Teresa Giudice Was ‘So Happy’ to See Husband Joe in Italy: ‘It Was Just Very Emotional’

United front. Real Housewives of New Jersey star Teresa Giudice is staying positive about the future of her marriage to husband Joe Giudice in the midst of his deportation appeal. During an exclusive interview with In Touch at BravoCon on Saturday, November 15, Teresa opened up about how she felt the moment she saw Joe for the first time since he was released from ICE custody last month.

“I was so happy. I was happy he was free. I was happy. My daughters were so happy. It was just very, very, very emotional,” Teresa, 47, told In Touch.

During the Real Housewives of New Jersey panel earlier that day, Teresa teased whether she and Joe had rekindled the physical side of their relationship, and she still played coy when asked if they had done “the boom boom” during their visit in Italy.

But it seems like Tre is definitely into her hubby’s new, fit look after he underwent a major weight loss transformation. “He worked out the whole time while he was away, like twice a day. Yeah, no, that what he loves to do. He’s going to keep working out. If anything, he’s not working out as much as he was working out. In there, that’s all you do,” she added.

As In Touch previously reported, Joe was released from federal prison in March after serving a 41-month prison sentence on fraud charges. But since he is not an American citizen, Joe was immediately transferred to ICE custody as he awaited a verdict in his deportation case. In October, a judge granted his request to return to his native country of Italy where he would wait for the results of his deportation appeal, and Teresa and their daughters reunited with him in Italy less than one month later.

During their first joint tell-all interview on the Bravo special with Andy Cohen, “Joe and Teresa: Unlocked,” earlier this month, Teresa and Joe both seemed to be very candid that if Joe does get deported to Italy, that would be the end of their marriage.

But it seems like Teresa is still staying positive, and she shared for her hopes for her family in the future. “Health, love and happiness,” Teresa said.
