LOL: Almost There, Mama! Pregnant Amy Duggar Reveals Her Hilarious New Nickname at Work

He’s almost here! Amy Duggar King will soon be welcoming a bouncing baby boy with husband, Dillon King, and it looks like the mama-to-be is embracing her hilarious new nickname to the fullest. The Counting On relative took to Twitter with the comical reveal on Monday, September 23, shortly after sharing the latest news about her pregnancy.

“Me: My new nickname at 3130 is waddles,” the 32-year-old tweeted, while sharing a gif of a penguin wobbling on the ice. As fans may recall, Amy owns a clothing store called 3130 in Arkansas, which includes home goods and more.

Amy and her beau, Dillon, announced they were expecting their first child in June and she’s continued to post updates about her journey to motherhood. Most recently, the TLC cousin opened up about a scary incident that happened a few days ago.

The pregnant star revealed that she’s always trying to remain positive, noting how that’s easier said than done in some occasions. “Last night was one of those serious times … I went to the hospital and they told me I was having early labor contractions and whoaa buddy they were intense but I’m not yet dialated,” Amy shared in the caption of her new baby bump photo on Sunday, September 22.

“So I just have to breathe, rest and let my body do the rest,” she added, while also making sure to thank her husband and fans for their support.

Luckily, Amy revealed that everything was fine with her bundle of joy, addressing how the nurse said little Daxton Ryan was “textbook perfect,” which was a true blessing. She was also extremely candid about the experience, confessing that “checking for dilation hurts. Hurts freaking bad and I seriously should write a book about the real stuff that happens during pregnancy,” she wrote. “I promise I wouldn’t sugar coat a thing!”

Dillon and Amy’s new addition isn’t expected to arrive until her due date: October 9, but we’ll have to wait and see if he comes sooner! The star even dished on what she’s been craving while pregnant, revealing she’s got her sights set on “a mocktail and some queso.”

So, have the Duggars given her any parenting advice? Of course! Amy revealed the tips her famous family members gave her about raising a child while chatting exclusively with In Touch at WEtv’s Love After Lockup screening in August.

“They just told me to love on that baby and take time,” she said. “Just like spending time just bonding with Dax when he’s here.”
