Courtney Stodden is doing her part to give back to the community — by donating the cash she was offered for her sex tape to charity.

Initially, she refused, saying that it was personal footage for her — and, presumably, husband Doug Hutchison’s — eyes only. She has since clarified her story, explaining to TMZ that one of her “best friends” stole the tape and “made it clear that he will stop at nothing to double-cross me.”
The former child bride says she releasing the video because she’s “been painted into a corner.”

Of course, nothing can be released without her consent, so it’s possible she was concerned about the footage leaking online.
One’s thing is clear — she’s not in it for the cash.
Our modern-day Mother Teresa tells TMZ she is deciding between an animal rights organization or “children with cancer” as the benefactor of her hard-earned money.
