The “7 Rings” singer, 33, is currently in the middle of The Eternal Sunshine Tour. While on the road, she has been accompanied by her ex-boyfriend and dancer.
As the two spend some time together, she has chosen to switch around the iconic lyrics of her hit single “Thank U, Next”. While performing at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York on Monday, July 13, she opted out of singing the verse, “Wrote some songs about Ricky / Now I listen and laugh.”
Instead, she sang, “Wrote some songs about Ricky/ We always find our way back.”
According to People, a source shared, “She’s having a great time on tour. She loves having close friends join her for parts of the tour. Ricky has always been a friend and confidant.
“She really trusts him. He has such great, positive energy, makes her laugh and she enjoys spending time with him,” the insider added.

The source also revealed the two spent July 4 weekend together with her family in Florida.
Ricky had joined Ariana on tour just weeks after it was announced that she had split from Ethan Slater after three years of dating.
A source confirmed to People that Ariana and Ethan had “amicably” broken up and are “still friends and very supportive of one another.”
Ariana and Ethan were dating for three years, which is much longer than the time she spent with Ricky ten years ago.
The singer got close with Ricky in 2015 while he was working as one of her backup dancers. The two were romantically linked for a year before a source told E! News that they had also amicably split after finding the relationship difficult to make work.
Ricky and Ariana have remained friends ever since.
