Odette Yustman: Dave Annable’s Eager to Start a Family

Newlywed Odette Yustman attended the Grand Opening of the Lexington Social House in Hollywood Wednesday night. She came sans hubby Dave Annable, making it a girls' night out. When asked what the last romantic thing her husband did for her, she gushed, “Oh my God, well, he woke me up at 5 o’clock in the morning the day after my birthday and he told me to pack a bag. Disneyland is my favorite place in the entire world and I’ve never been to Disneyland so he surprised me, drove me to the airport and took me to Disneyland.”

When Dave isn’t whisking his wife off to magical places, Odette describes a typical date night for the pair. “I’ll cook because I’m trying to brush up on those skills. I’m really good at cooking Cuban. But cooking dinner, playing a little backgammon. I just learned and I’m kicking his ass, by the way!”

Odette, 26, mentioned she’s holding off on having kids even though Dave, 31, is eager to start a family. “You know it’s so hard for me to say let’s wait a few years because he’s so good with kids. But I can still recognize that I’m a little too selfish to have them just yet, but in a few years absolutely. You can definitely count on that, it’s happening,” she says.

Maybe a few more surprise trips and she’ll warm up to the idea a bit faster!
