#CoupleGoals! Nicole Richie and Joel Madden Pack on the PDA During Date Night in West Hollywood
The look of love! Even though Nicole Richie and Joel Madden have been together for 13 years, it seems like the Hollywood A-listers are still crazy about one another. The blonde beauty, 37, and the musician, 40, were spotted packing on the PDA during their date night in West Hollywood on Tuesday, September 17.
The duo — who are not seen together that frequently — dined at Night + Market and then stopped to embrace one another on the street shortly afterward. The former reality TV starlet had her arms around her hubby and couldn’t help but give him a big smooch. Too cute! During the romantic evening, Nicole wore a striped yellow and black long sleeve shirt with black pants and let her curly hair flow while Joel sported a baseball cap with a black long sleeve jacket and black pants.
So, how do Nicole and Joel keep the spark alive after all of these years? “I don’t know [if there’s] a secret [to it], other than we love to laugh and have fun,” she told Us Weekly at the launch of NicoleXCapsuleChix collection. “It’s nice doing the journey of life together. Doing it with somebody else that has the same goals as you is a really fun way to live.”
The pair — who share two kids: Harlow, 11, and Sparrow, 10 — started dating in December 2006 and later announced that they were engaged in February 2010. The House of Harlow 1960 founder also revealed what she hopes to teach her kids. “I think we just have to encourage kids to be themselves and to stand up for what they believe in and stand up for something,” she confessed. The Great News alum also noted that the Good Charlotte rocker is “the most supportive.”
Nicole and Joel rarely gush about one another on social media, but The Simple Life star made an exception for his 40th birthday in March. “Here we are at 25 and 27,” she captioned a throwback photo of two of them together. “Today you’re 40. Happy birthday to my P.I.C., my ride or die and my best friend for life @joelmadden.”
