Nancy Guthrie has been missing for over two months — and on the same day her daughter, Savannah Guthrie, returned to Today, new ransom notes were sent to TMZ claiming to have seen the 84-year-old alive.

Charles Latibeaudiere and Harvey Levin were in the middle of filming TMZ Live on Monday, April 6, when they revealed they had received a new ransom note from an anonymous source.

“It’s unbelievable that millions have been wasted and yet here I am willing to deliver them on a silver platter since the 11th of february [sic] for a bitcoin but I am disregarded as a scam,” the note allegedly read. “They are free and the case is frozen but the ego’s [sic] remain hot when it comes to me. Arrogance at it’s [sic] finest.”

The outlet reported that the person behind the note also claimed that Nancy is now dead.

Shortly after they received the first note, TMZ revealed they had received a second note that claimed the person sending the letters had previously seen Nancy “alive” with her alleged kidnappers “in the state of Sonora Mexico.”

“I just want whats [sic] fair and to live peacefully with enough to start my life again quietly with out [sic] having to join a witness protection program,” the second note added.

Nancy was last seen on January 31 when her daughter, Annie Guthrie, and son-in-law, Tommaso Cioni, dropped her off at her Catalina Foothills home. The next morning, she failed to attend a streaming church service and a friend alerted the family.

Since then, there have been few developments in the case and just today, Savannah, 54, returned to her spot on Today after taking several weeks off as authorities searched for her mom.

The morning show anchor has made several pleas asking for the suspects to bring her mother home, and the family has offered up to $1 million in reward money.

People with any information regarding the case are asked to contact the FBI at 1-800-CALL-FBI (1-800-225-5324). You may also contact your local FBI office, the nearest American Embassy or Consulate, or you can submit a tip online at tips.fbi.gov.
