Amber Portwood’s Ex-Fiancé Matt Baier Secretly Marries Girlfriend in Las Vegas!

He liked it, so he put a ring on it! Amber Portwood’s ex-fiancé Matt Baier is a married man. Just months after he and the 27-year-old Teen Mom OG star officially called it quits, the Boston native secretly tied the knot with girlfriend Jennifer Conlon in his current hometown of Las Vegas. Matt confirmed his nuptials to E! News in an interview, published on Tuesday, Nov. 28.

“She’s not a public figure. So we kept our relationship private,” Matt told the outlet of his romance with Jennifer, whom he met at a restaurant not long after he relocated from Indiana to Sin City. Matt said that he didn’t get down on one knee to ask for Jennifer’s hand in marriage. Instead, the idea of becoming husband and wife “just kind of came up.”

“It was one of those situations where it just kind of felt like the right thing. We really get each other. We both have overcome a lot of stuff,” he said of Jennifer, who has two daughters. “It felt like the right thing to do. It just kind of happened that way.”

Matt’s wedding news comes just weeks after his ex Amber revealed that she is pregnant and expecting a child with her new boyfriend, Andrew Glennon. The 16 and Pregnant alum — who also shares daughter Leah, 9, with ex-fiancé Gary Shirley — opened up about baby No. 2 in an interview with Us Weekly earlier this month.

“I just kind of sat down and thought about it and realized that it was a big step in my life and it was a good thing actually, and I was really happy within 30 minutes,” Amber said. “After the initial shock, it was nothing but happy thoughts and just enjoying my time with my boyfriend. We’re both very happy.”

Amber began dating her new man over the summer after meeting while filming Marriage Boot Camp Reality Stars with Matt. At the time, Andrew was working as part of the reality show’s crew. Despite the quick timeline of their relationship, Amber said the couple’s families couldn’t be more thrilled about their baby. “They ended up being very excited and happy for us, so it all turned out well,” she said. “Andrew just told his family as well and they’re very happy for us.”
