Mary Bonnet Reveals Miscarriage Left Her ‘Dying Inside’ While Filming ‘Selling Sunset’

Selling Sunset star Mary Bonnet is opening up about one of the most painful chapters of her life.

During the July 21 episode of Jana Kramer’s Whine Down podcast, Bonnet, 45, revealed that she fell into a deep depression after suffering a miscarriage, admitting she was “dying inside” while cameras were rolling on Selling Sunset.

The Netflix personality explained that the loss took a devastating emotional toll, saying she struggled for months afterward.

“I was depressed for about six months,” Bonnet shared, adding that although viewers saw her filming the hit reality series, she was quietly battling overwhelming grief behind the scenes. She said she felt like she was “dying inside” during that period.

Bonnet has previously been candid about wanting to expand her family with husband Romain Bonnet, but she told Kramer, 42, the heartbreaking experience ultimately changed their plans for the future.

According to Bonnet, the couple is no longer trying to have a baby, explaining that the miscarriage forced them to reevaluate what was best for their lives moving forward.

The emotional confession comes as Bonnet has also been reflecting on her future beyond Selling Sunset. During the same interview, she discussed stepping away from the Netflix series and how filming a reality television show while coping with personal heartbreak affected her perspective.

Bonnet’s candid comments offered fans a glimpse at the private pain that unfolded behind the glamorous real estate show, revealing that one of the most difficult periods of her life was happening off camera even as she continued filming.
