After Lori Loughlin and her husband, Mossimo Giannulli, were allegedly involved in the nationwide college admissions scandal, it seems like their family is now worried about their marital status since they’ve been fighting a lot lately.

“Their daughter Bella [Giannulli] is extremely concerned they’re going to get divorced,” a source told Us Weekly. When the couple returned to federal court in Boston on August 27 for a hearing, the duo fought over whether they should take a private jet to the East Coast. “The couple was advised by their lawyers not to,” the source added. The Full House alum, 55, agreed, “but Mossimo insisted, saying it would be a ‘zoo’ if they flew commercial.”

It seems like the brunette beauty and the fashion designer, 56, haven’t been on the same page in a while. Loughlin was annoyed at her hubby after he recommended they don’t take the original plea deal they were offered in April, the insider explained. “Lori was inclined to take the deal, but Mossimo said it would ruin both of their careers.”

In August, the Hallmark star asked for a new plea deal, so she can avoid spending any time behind bars. Loughlin “has asked her lawyer to negotiate a plea deal that would involve no jail time but home confinement with monitoring via ankle monitor,” a second insider told the outlet. “She’s willing to pay a substantial fine, over $2 million.”

However, it seems like it’s too late for Loughlin to broker anything further. At this point, “Any deal would involve significant jail time,” the insider said. However, Giannulli still wants to go to trial. “Moss doesn’t want any plea deal and is expecting to be fully exonerated,” the source added.

Meanwhile, Loughlin’s pals want her to cut ties with her man. “Her friends think she should leave him,” another source added. “But Lori refuses and says the ordeal has made them stronger.”

The actress and Giannulli were arrested in March after they allegedly “agreed to pay bribes totaling $500,000 in exchange for having their two daughters, Bella, 20, and Olivia, 19, designated as recruits to the USC crew team — despite the fact that they did not participate in crew — thereby facilitating their admission to USC.”

The pair was later released from jail on $1 million bond. After they made a court appearance on April 3, the couple learned that they could face up to 20 years in federal prison, 3 years probation and a $250,000 fine.

Afterward, they pleaded not guilty to charges of money laundering and conspiracy to commit mail and wire fraud. “Ms. Loughlin and her counsel affirm that Ms. Loughlin has received a copy of the Second Superseding Indictment and that Ms. Loughlin pleads not guilty to each of the charges against her,” read the filings. Giannulli’s read much the same, also indicating that “Mr. Giannulli pleads not guilty to each of the charges against him.”
