Brian Austin Green is standing by his former Beverly Hills, 90210 costar Tori Spelling as she navigates the future after her surprise departure from the 90210MG podcast.

In a video TMZ posted to X on Thursday, August 6, former on screen couple reunited for a short Q&A session, with text on the clip that read: “Questions and answers with Tori.” Spelling, 53, wore sunglasses and Green, also 53, kept it casual in a white T-shirt and camouflage baseball cap.

“Will Tori ever return to the 0MG pod? I don’t think — are we really going to talk about the 0MG pod…yet? I think we need a little time on that, right?” Green asked, to which Spelling simply replied: “Yeah.”

Green said that the Stori Telling author may need some “time to sort of gather [her] thoughts.”

“Oh, I like how you phrased that,” Spelling responded. “Yeah, you want to really take the time, really assess, really reflect, and then be able to speak your truth in a thoughtful way, rather than being reactive.”

As In Touch previously reported, their former costar Jennie Garth, 54, addressed Spelling’s exit from the 90210 rewatch podcast during a July 31 episode, saying she was “sad” Spelling wasn’t finishing the rewatch series with her but “happy for” her and “excited for her to choose herself.”

Cohost Amy Sugarman claimed during the episode that Spelling made the decision about two weeks earlier, calling it “100 percent her decision.”

In Green and Spelling’s social media post, the father of five wasn’t ready to completely close the door on her return. “As of right now, she’s not doing the podcast,” he said, laughing. “But that’s just today. It could change tomorrow, but who knows.”

Spelling then urged fans to keep supporting the show without her. “Please, please, please keep watching,” she said. “Jennie and Amy are doing it, they’re bringing out tons of fun hosts, so please keep watching it.”

Reaction on X was mixed, with one person questioning in the replies why “no one can stay friends with Jennie Garth.”

Another framed the apparent fallout in dramatic terms, writing that “the 90210 girls’ friendship crumbling in real time feels way more raw than any scripted meltdown they filmed back in the day,” adding that “this whole public exit interview just makes it sadder.”
