Who Is Leiana Evensen, Fiancée of Dog the Bounty Hunter’s Daughter Lyssa Chapman?

Wedding bells are about to ring in Hawaii, the place where Dog the Bounty Hunter's daughter Lyssa Chapman met and fell in love with her fiancée, Leiana Evensen! Lyssa and Leiana announced their engagement to their friends and family in December, and they've been posting romantic photos on Instagram ever since. But who is this Leiana Evensen lady? We've got the deets!

According to her Facebook profile, Leiana — or "Lei," for short — attended a private school in Honolulu, HI, graduated in 2005, and started work as a fitness director at a Honolulu gym in 2017. She grew up, however, just outside Honolulu in an area called Kāneʻohe (just like Pretty Little Liars star Janel Parrish). Leiana is a fan of U.S. Soccer and the Seattle Seahawks, listens to Kanye West and Lauryn Hill, and watches Grey's Anatomy and Orange Is the New Black.

We also know Leiana has been an activist for years. In fact, the Honolulu Star-Bulletin has a letter to the editor she wrote 15 years ago — when she was still in high school! — to support proposed legislation that would ban smoking by public employees on public school campuses. "I wanted to let everyone know how my friends and I feel about HB 248," she wrote. "We think it is a no-brainer … Everyone knows how bad smoking is for your health. Our doctors tell us, our parents tell us, our coaches tell us; but smoking is allowed on school campuses? … It is hard enough to be a teen today; please, state Legislature, don't give us mixed messages."

Now, Leiana is getting ready to plan a wedding with Lyssa, who's "head over heels in love" with her, according to Radar. They're not just fiancées, though; they're also birthday twins. As Leiana revealed on Instagram, they both celebrated their 30th birthday at the same time in June. "I love you more than ever and am beyond excited to start the next chapter in our journey together," Lei wrote. "So grateful for you baby! You have brought so much love and light back into my life. I am forever yours. Love will always win, and you will always be my love, babe." Cheers to the happy couple!
