It looks like Teen Mom 2 star Leah Messer is opening up about her rarely seen, estranged biological father. The MTV star talked to fans about her strained relationship with her dad.
Though mom Dawn Spears often makes appearances on the reality show, Leah’s father Gary Lee Miller has not been present. Watch the video below to see what Leah had to say about her strained relationship with her dad.
According to Radar Online, back in 2011, Gary was arrested for possession of a controlled substance. According to the documents, a police officer “observed the defendant handing an unknown amount of pills to a female subject outside of Chili’s restaurant.” According to Gary, the pain pills he had in his possession were for back pain.
“The defendant eventually admitted that he did give one pill to the female subject because she stated to him that her back hurt,” Radar’s report said. “The defendant was not in possession of a pill bottle or prescription at the time of the incident, but stated that the pills were his.”
Though Leah has been in rehab, she’s consistently said that it was not due to drug use. However, back in 2014, In Touch spoke to Leah’s alleged drug dealer.
“I used to give Leah the pills myself; she’s picked up 30 to 40 pills at a time from me,” the dealer told In Touch exclusively at the time. “She was withdrawing $1,000 a week to buy pills.”
These days, though, Leah is looking healthier than ever. Between her lipstick business endeavors and being a mom to her three girls, she’s got a full plate — but we think she’s doing great!
