Jersey Shore’s Lauren Sorrentino Is Cracking Jokes About Mike’s Time in Prison

Losing track of time. Lauren Sorrentino took to Instagram on Wednesday, September 4, to share a funny picture in anticipation of her husband, Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino’s release from prison. The 34-year-old remains in high spirits during this difficult time.

“My 🧠 anytime someone asks me when my husband’s home,” the reality star wrote under a photo of a clock with scattered numbers, clearly making light of the situation, no pun intended. Lauren is obviously over all of the questions surrounding Mike’s incarceration and is so ready for him to come home. One fan even commented, “LMFAO. Lauren is getting more savage by the minute.”

Just recently on the VMAs red carpet, Lauren gave an epic side-eye when reporters asked the ladies of Jersey Shore where their men were that evening. The blonde beauty promptly grinned, tilted her head to the side and widened her eyes. Lauren herself found humor in her telling expression and shared the video to her Instagram Story. “My face when she asks where my husband is … ,” she jokingly wrote on the video.

Lauren and the roommates are anxiously awaiting Mike’s return home, and in a sneak peek from Jersey Shore: Family Vacation, the reality star called his friends from behind bars. “I’m doing great! I think I will be home a little sooner than later,” Mike assured the cast.

The 37-year-old is currently serving an eight-month prison sentence for tax evasion at Otisville Federal Correctional Institution in New York. Dan Wise, a federal prison consultant, told the Asbury Park Press that Mike will be getting out of prison “any day now.”

“The Situation will no longer be under construction!” Mike said of his upcoming release. Lauren and Mike have remained positive through this hard time and are trying to have a sense of humor whenever it is appropriate.
