If There’s One Thing Kylie Jenner Knows How to Do It’s Commit, so No, She’s Not Changing Stormi’s Name

Everybody relax, Kylie Jenner isn’t changing Stormi Webster‘s name! A report over the weekend claimed that Kylie was regretting the name she gave her precious daughter, because of Stormy Daniels’ salacious In Touch interview detailing her affair with Donald Trump. Here’s the thing: Kylie has never gone back on a decision in her life. If there’s one thing Kylie knows how to do, it’s commit. So she’s certainly not changing her baby’s name because a porn star also happens to have the same one.

“Jenner thought she had found the perfect name for her daughter Stormi, but now she’s freaking out,” said the Star report. “Kylie doesn’t want her daughter associated [with Stormy Daniels, so] she’s seriously considering renaming her.” We highly, hightly doubt Kylie would ever do such a thing, especially since she planned Stormi’s name months before she gave birth. She even created an entire makeup line inspired by her daughter’s moniker! Not to mention, the Stormy saga broke almost a month before Kylie gave birth, so if she was so concerned about it she could have easily changed it before welcoming the bundle of joy, rather than three months after. Plus, Kylie has been frequently using the name on social media, so she’s clearly not embarassed.

The alternative name offered by the outlet was “Butterfli,” which is actually a variation of what fans thought Stormi would be named before being born. Kylie continuously wore butterfly jewelry while pregnant, so fans thought she might name Stormi “Mariposa,” or something else inspired by the insect. However, that didn’t happen, and we’ve come to know and love Stormi with the name she has.

It would be totally unlike Kylie to change her mind and use a different name, especially about something so important. With everything from men, to her career, to her lip injections, Kylie has never gone back on a decision. Hell, she dated Tyga for several years despite his cheating! She moved out of her mom’s house at 17 and never looked back, even when she found out she was pregnant. She started a makeup company two and a half years ago in 2016, and she hasn’t slowed down since. All we’re saying is, Kylie doesn’t seem to care that Stormi has the same name as Stormy, and as long as she’s Kylie’s daughter she’ll soon eclipse anyone else in the world with the same name (cough cough Kylie Minogue.)
