Kim Kardashian Slammed for Promoting SKIMS Amid Kylie Jenner’s Illness: She’s ‘at the Hospital’

Nurse Kim is off duty. Kim Kardashian took to Instagram on Wednesday, September 25, to promote her new SKIMS waist trainer. Although we love a girl who hustles, fans were quick to throw shade at the 38-year-old’s money moves while her little sister Kylie Jenner was in the hospital.

“Kim your sister is at the hospital,” read one of many similar comments. Others were concerned for Kylie’s health writing, “Why does anyone think that Kylie is sick? Omg.” The 22-year-old was admitted to a Los Angeles hospital after experiencing flu-like symptoms, a source confirmed to Us Weekly. As a result, she was unable to attend Paris Fashion Week.

“Hi, guys! So, as you know, I was getting ready to go to Paris for the Balmain show at Paris Fashion Week for the launch of my makeup collab with Olivier [Rousteing]. Unfortunately, I’m really sick and unable to travel,” the young billionaire later wrote on Twitter. “I’m heartbroken to be missing this show, but I know that my amazing team, and my friends who are in town for the event, will help be there in spirit.”

Despite comments on Kim’s lack of support for his sister in need, some took aim at waist trainers themselves, adding, “Kim love ya but those don’t work 😪.” Another continued, “Seriously? Imao. Why would you promote this? That’s not healthy. Isn’t it better if someone wanted a small waist that they should exercise and work hard enough to get one? Smd.”

In the video, Kim said that waist trainers make her feel really “snatched.” What makes a SKIMS waist trainer stand out from the rest is that it is very stretchy and seamless, according to the hourglass beauty. She also said that her waist trainer is not meant to “suffocate you” like many of the others that are on the market.

Although there was a lot of criticism on the post, many fans were super excited for her new product and praised her work ethic. “Yassssss!
